Donald Trump Wins Back the White House in 2024

1. Donald Trump is now winning the U.S. presidential election.
2. He’s already celebrating and has started declaring victory.
3. Republicans also look set to take control of the Senate.
3. The GOP has won at least 51 out of 100 Senate seats, enough for a majority.
4. Now, attention shifts to the House of Representatives.
5. While final results are still coming in, Republicans lead with about 197 seats in the House, ahead of the Democrats’ 179.
6. In a previous post, I discussed the possibility of Trump coming back with control of both the presidency and Congress.
7. Though it’s not yet finalized, Trump is a step closer to achieving this full-power status.

12. This means 75% of what he pledged didn’t get done.

14. Since he wouldn’t need to worry about re-election, he’d be freer to act.
15. Plus, his age suggests this would be his final term, giving him added motivation to push his agenda.
16. If Trump controls the Senate and House, we could see him act quickly on his policies, especially at the start of his term.
17. During his victory speech, Trump praised Elon Musk, calling him a “genius” who deserves support.
18. With Musk’s Tesla possibly receiving strong backing from a fully empowered Trump administration, the outcomes could be intriguing to watch.
19. Analysts predict that if Trump fully enacts his promises, the U.S. could see around $7 trillion in new spending.
20. This surge in cash could lower the dollar’s value, driving up the cost of goods.
21. Higher prices could revive inflation, which may lead the Federal Reserve to reconsider interest rate cuts.
22. Rising U.S. long-term bond yields reflect these expectations as Trump’s victory looks more likely.
