What Will Change if Donald Trump Wins? – Part 1

(Feat. Agenda 47, MAGA, Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, 2024 U.S. Presidential Election, Democrats, Republicans, Federal Reserve, Tax Cuts, Inflation, Green Energy, Bitcoin, Trade War with China, Russia and Deep State)

In our last post, we took a look at how the U.S. presidential election works, emphasizing the importance of key swing states, especially Pennsylvania. These states hold massive influence in deciding the next president.

Polling groups collect data from multiple sources to provide an average of support for each candidate. As of November 1—just days before Election Day—the numbers show Harris leading slightly with 48.6% compared to Trump’s 47.9%.

But here’s the twist: while Harris’s support appears to be sliding, Trump’s is steadily rising. As we mentioned before, it’s the swing states that really matter here, not the national averages. Right now, Pennsylvania is crucial, with Trump and Harris tied at 48% each.

This election could be a long one. With current support nearly split down the middle, it may take over a week to know the final result. Pennsylvania even has a rule that mandates a recount if the margin is below 0.5%. Given the tight numbers, a recount seems likely.

While no one can say for certain how things will turn out, many are already predicting Trump could win. So, let’s break down what could change if he does.

Donald Trump Make America Great Again, MAGA

1. Donald Trump’s Plans Are Already Laid Out

2. It’s called Agenda 47.

3. Trump has shared his policy goals on his website, laying out his promises if he returns to office.

Agenda 47

4. Agenda 47 outlines Trump’s vision if he becomes the 47th president.

5. Here’s a look at some of the key promises in Agenda 47.

6. Trump plans to cut subsidies for renewable energy and make it easier for nuclear power plants to get approved.

7. He argues that renewable energy is driven by what he calls “Democratic false ideals.” If elected, he pledges to immediately withdraw from the UN Climate Agreement and the Paris Accord.

8. Trump also wants to ease restrictions on oil and gas production to lower gas prices and use the surplus for export.

9. On his first day, Trump has promised to sign an executive order to ramp up oil drilling.

10. With AI expected to increase energy demand 2-3 times over, Trump wants to invest in the U.S. power grid, especially through small modular nuclear reactors.

11. His energy policy focuses on oil, gas, and nuclear power, while leaving renewable energy development to private companies instead of government.

12. Trump also plans to tighten export controls and push for “fair trade” by challenging China and managing trade balances with countries like Russia.

13. His plans include expanding restrictions on exporting U.S. technology to China and Russia, adding over 1,000 of their companies to a restricted list.

14. He has also promised an emergency order to block Chinese tech companies like TikTok and WeChat from accessing American users’ data.

15. On top of this, Trump has laid out multiple measures against China, including banning Chinese investment in high-tech U.S. industries and tightening visa requirements for Chinese nationals.

16. In trade, Trump proposes a “reciprocal tariff policy” on imported cars.

17. Right now, the U.S. applies a 2.5% tariff on imported cars, while the EU charges 10%, China charges 15%, and Brazil charges 35%.

18. Under Trump’s proposal, if China charges a 15% tariff on U.S. cars, the U.S. would match that 15%. If Brazil imposes 35%, the U.S. would do the same.

19. This tariff policy wouldn’t just apply to cars; it’s a broader approach.

20. The WTO (World Trade Organization) has a “Most-Favored Nation” rule that ensures all members charge equal tariffs to each other.

21. Trump wants to do away with this rule, instead setting tariffs individually based on each country’s own rates.

22. The main target of this policy is China.

23. Trump has promised to strip China of its Most-Favored Nation (MFN) status and phase out imports of Chinese electronics, steel, and pharmaceuticals over four years.

24. Trump wants to lower the corporate tax rate from 21% to 18%, with an eventual target of 15%.

25. He also proposes simplifying income taxes from the current progressive structure (10%-37%) to two brackets: 15% and 30%.

26. During his last term, Trump reduced the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21%.

27. This corporate tax cut boosted U.S. competitiveness, sparking a wave of reshoring as foreign companies moved operations back to America.

28. While Democrats aim to raise the corporate tax rate to 28%, Trump wants to bring it down to 15%.

29. His tax plan includes raising the lowest income tax rate from 10% to 15%, while lowering taxes for middle- and upper-income groups to reduce the overall tax burden.

30. . This shift to a 15% rate for lower-income groups might raise some eyebrows.

31. Some may wonder if raising this tax rate will cost Trump votes from lower-income Americans.

32. But tax rates only affect those with taxable income, so many lower-income earners may see little change.

33. To appeal to lower-income voters, Trump also proposes a tax exemption on tips.

34. Generally, lower-income voters are more interested in government aid than in tax rates.

35. So, Trump’s strategy seems to be securing lower-income support through assistance programs, while cutting taxes for middle- and high-income groups.

36. He also plans to cancel all tax increases funding the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

37. In addition to reversing tax hikes, Trump intends to end subsidies and tax breaks for electric vehicle and battery companies.

38. Trump argues that Biden’s EV policies could lead to job losses, especially in states like Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio, estimating that 117,000 U.S. auto jobs could be at risk.

39. This concern is why he promises to cancel Biden’s EV sales mandates.

Donald Trump Fed Powell

40. Trump also aims to limit the Federal Reserve’s focus to inflation alone, removing employment as one of its goals.

41. Currently, the Fed has a “dual mandate” to balance inflation and employment, but Trump wants it to focus on inflation only.

42. He plans to reduce the Fed’s power and put more control in the Treasury Department, which the president oversees.

43. Beyond these, there are other significant pledges.

44. Here’s a look at some of his additional promises:

45. Trump has pledged to immediately end open borders and enforce the toughest illegal immigration policies in U.S. history.

46. He plans to expand travel restrictions on certain Muslim-majority countries and tighten visa policies.

47. Trump wants to stop U.S. spending on Ukraine and negotiate with Putin to end the war.

48. He says the EU should cover more of the costs for Ukraine’s support.

49. If the EU doesn’t provide enough compensation, he’s threatening to pull the U.S. out of NATO and make Europe pay for its own defense.

50. Trump criticizes Biden’s “defend Taiwan” promise, calling it “a foolish move.”

51. Trump also plans to withdraw from international organizations like the IMF, World Bank, and OECD, which he sees as dominated by left-leaning elites.

52. To cut government waste, Trump wants to make it easier to fire federal employees and reduce unnecessary positions.

53. He claims that during his last presidency, career bureaucrats slowed his agenda by resisting his policies.

54. This time, he says he’s ready to replace officials with his own appointees if they push back.

Donald Trump

55. Trump has already started “Project 2025” to assemble a large transition team and has collected resumes for 20,000 staffers.

56. This effort ties into his promise to dismantle what he calls the “Deep State” in government.

Stay tuned for Part 2.
